BioMasher® III has the features of both BioMasher® I and II. This model consists of a filter tube with an abrasive surface inner wall and a pestle with a textured surface. After grinding the sample in the filter tube using the pestle, centrifuge the extraction liquid. The extracted sample will be filtered and caught in the tube. Since the fibrous membrane component get trapped by the filter, BioMasher® III is recommended for homogenization of highly fibrous samples.
